14. Management Tips

 

 

QS Super Player™ operates a proprietary file system to store and log data. You should store all files in the same folder.

 

We recommend c:\ program files \ QS Super Player \ Sign Name

 

 

QS Super Player is a 'live change' status system.

 

 

You can install QS Super Player™ Software on two systems.

One live PC, one for testing PC.

 

 

 

 

Simple Update: Tip: If you wish to update a file without turning off the sign, alter an animation then revert again to your set animation. This will 'trip' the sign and update.

 

 

Using Flash: You can use Flash fiels with full editing capability. Flash files output vector based imagery so theis will keep your fiel sizes down, whilst allowing full animation control inside a file.

 

 

Making Movies: You can also convert Flash *.swf files to movies using moving making software. AVI files and WMV allow fps settings perfectly matched to audio. In this manner, your can play videos with audio that can be updated.

 

 

Using Flash... more... For experienced network administrators, SQL databases and Flash files can be created for amazing table layouts, file and data information output.

 

 

 

Using Flash... more...  Keyframe speed, animations and texts, logos and pictures, videos and more can all be used then saved as *.swf for brilliant play inside QS Super Player™.

 

 

 

Using Flash... more...  You can also interact with other drawing formast, eps, psd, ai, cdr etc. Import into your Flash library then animate a timeline, publish and play on your new l e d sign.

 

 

 

 

 

 

New Technologies

 

 

QS Super Player Technology also gives you TOV and VOI

 

 

 

 

TOV - Text Over Video

 

Choose > Setup > Add High Impact Text

 

Type your short term text message and 'Play'. Your short term "high impact" message will overlay onto any Video or Picture. Set ast eh topmost layer, change colors and fonts to suit.

 

 

VOI - Video Over Image

 

 

Choose any 'Page' over 'Page' and alter it's LAYER ORDER by selecting the UP Down arrows in the Main Admin Window.

 

Your new Z order will show as per your selection.

 

This gives you powerful programming control for your LED Sign output. You can stream video over a background image.

Eg. A sunset picture background with a tropical island advertisement playing as foreground.

 

 

 

 

 

15.2 Starting QS Super Player

 

 

Using your desktop icon, right click the QS Super Player Program Icon.

 

Choose > Run as administrator
